Our role in managing the process for the wide range of Ascham’s print publications.

Scribble & Think has a longstanding relationship with Ascham as their preferred agency for their design and print needs. Since 2014, we have coordinated the design and print production process for a wide range of Ascham’s print publications including the school Prospectus, the annual community magazine – The Dalton Extra, the end of year review ‘Charivari’, multiple information booklets and other various assets such as cards, flyers and envelopes.

Having a comprehensive knowledge of the school’s brand guidelines, we have a thorough attention to detail when designing or amending new and existing assets, ensuring all work produced is in-line and up-to-date with the school’s branding. We also work closely with paper suppliers, which allows us to have the most current and on-trend print and paper stock options. We use great detail in planning and speccing which stock will be used for each asset or publication, and we create physical mockups to give the client the best possible understanding of what the end product will be.

When design, stock and print production methods have been approved, we then undertake a quality control role that involves taking the time to thoroughly assess and proofread the artwork to ensure the colour, images and text are legible, whilst also taking into consideration the stock and print production methods and if and how they will affect the finished product.

We also attend onsite press passes on the client’s behalf, which allows us to check and approve the print quality during the printing process. This is a useful and valuable way for us to ensure we are providing Ascham with the best possible outcome.
